12. Noah's Dream
At night, Noah would often ask his mother, "Why can’t I go to school like the other children?" His mother would smile sadly and say, "We don’t have enough money for school, Noah. But I promise, one day, you will go." Noah believed her. He kept the hope alive in his heart and dreamed of a day when he could sit in a classroom.
Even though he couldn’t go to school, Noah never gave up on his dream. Every day, he tried to learn in small ways. He watched the older children read their books and tried to understand the words. Sometimes, they would teach him a new word or show him how to write a letter. Noah was eager to learn, no matter how small the lesson.
One day, a teacher from the nearby town came to the village. She was looking for children who wanted to go to school. Noah’s heart raced with excitement. He had dreamed of this moment for so long. He raised his hand and said, "Please, I want to go to school. Can I learn too?" The teacher smiled and said, "You can come! We have a scholarship for children who need help. You can study for free."
Noah could hardly believe what he was hearing. He ran home, shouting with joy, "I’m going to school! I don’t need money. The teacher will help me!" His parents were overjoyed and hugged him tightly. "We are so proud of you, Noah," they said. For the first time in a long time, Noah felt a sense of hope and excitement.
The next morning, Noah walked to school with the other children. The walk was long, but Noah didn’t mind. His heart was filled with happiness. As he entered the classroom for the first time, he couldn’t believe his eyes. There were books, pencils, and desks for everyone. The teacher welcomed him with a kind smile and said, "Welcome to school, Noah."
In class, Noah felt a little nervous, but he was also excited. He sat down at his desk and began to learn. The teacher taught him how to read, write, and do math. Every day, Noah studied hard. He wasn’t afraid to ask questions. He wanted to learn everything. He knew that this was his chance to change his life.
As the weeks passed, Noah became more confident. He made new friends and enjoyed his lessons. He felt proud of how much he was learning. He realized that the more he learned, the more he wanted to know. He dreamed of one day becoming a teacher, so he could help other children who wanted to learn, just like he had.
Noah’s life had changed. He had gone from being a poor child with only dreams to a student with a future. He knew that hard work and hope could lead to amazing things. Every day, as he walked to school, Noah remembered the days when he could only dream of being in a classroom. Now, he was living his dream, and he would never stop learning.
Noah’s story was a reminder that dreams, no matter how big or small, can come true if you never give up. He had worked hard, stayed hopeful, and finally had the chance to study. And as he learned, Noah knew that there was always more to discover, more to achieve, and more dreams to chase.
